- Exploring movement, role play, mime with young children
- Dramatisation of nursery rhymes, poems and stories
- Examining speech development opportunities through drama.
These topics will be considered with regards to the early education years curriculum. Miriam will share lots of ideas and suggestions from her vast repertoire and provide an invaluable resource booklet. |

Miriam Daly. Through her work as a Montessori Teacher with twenty years experience Miriam saw a need to develop Drama in a Montessori Environment. She is now a full time Drama Teacher working in Montessori Schools and in the Primary school sector. She also lectures in the College of Commerce, Cork. |

Montessori Curriculum 3-6
Members Meetings-Dublin
These meetings will examine the Montessori Curriculum for 3-6 year olds and
demonstrate how Montessori teachers can adhere to the principles of
Siolta (Standard 7- Curriculum) without compromising on Montessori philosophy and methodology.
Presenter: Ms Mina Walsh
Mina Walsh is a Montessori teacher and lecturer in Montessori Education. Mina holds a both a BA in Humanities in Montessori Education and a Masters in Education. Mina has participated in Síolta Workshops and Seminars. Mina was a member of the consultative group in the development of Síolta-The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education.
